Foundry Grill
The resort's all-day dining room, an open-kitchen grill leaning on wood fire, seasonal produce, and a stone hearth in the back room. It runs breakfast through dinner plus a sizable Sunday brunch, so it is the default for guests who want one reliable sit-down meal a day. Unfussy renditions of classics rather than tweezered plates.
Tree Room
The resort's special-occasion room, dinner-only, candlelit, and hung with pieces from Redford's personal Native American art collection, with a live tree growing up through the dining room. This is the nicer, slower meal of a Sundance stay; think anniversary dinner, not a quick bite. Closed early in the week, so plan around it.

Stewart Cascade Trail
The area's signature moderate hike, about 3.5 miles round trip from Aspen Grove to a two-tiered 200-foot waterfall framed against Mount Timpanogos. Rolling terrain through aspen and fir with the falls as a clear payoff makes it the best bang-for-effort walk near the resort. Doable by most fit families in a couple of hours.
Mount Timpanogos Trail
The big one: a strenuous summit hike of roughly 14 to 15 miles round trip from Aspen Grove, climbing past waterfalls and a glacial basin to the 11,752-foot peak. This is a full pre-dawn-start day for experienced, conditioned hikers, not a casual outing. The reward is one of the great summit views in the Wasatch.

Sundance ZipTour
A high-speed zipline tour down the mountain with one of the longest vertical drops of any zip in the country, riding side-by-side on dual cables. You control your own speed and can stop mid-line for the view across North Fork Canyon. The marquee adrenaline activity at the resort and a clear highlight for thrill-seekers.
Sundance Mountain Resort
In winter this is the ski hill: a quieter, less-crowded Wasatch resort with tree-lined runs across beginner to expert terrain and short lift lines. It draws skiers who want the mountain without the Park City scene. The same lifts and base village anchor every other activity here the rest of the year.

Sundance Mountain Resort
Robert Redford's mountain village tucked into the base of Mount Timpanogos, built around a creek with weathered-timber lodges, an art studio, and a general store. It is less a town than a single carefully designed resort, and the village core is walkable in about ten minutes. Good base for a day of hiking, a scenic lift ride, and dinner without ever moving the car.
Bridal Veil Falls
A 600-foot double-cataract waterfall that drops right beside Highway 189 in lower Provo Canyon, so you can see it from the car before you even park. A short paved path leads to the base, making it the rare big waterfall reachable with a stroller or wheelchair. Snowmelt in late spring is the loudest show; deep winter freezes it into blue ice columns.
