Bell Buoy of Seaside
A no-frills seafood counter and market on the south end that has been selling fresh-off-the-boat fish and cooking it up since the 1940s. People come for the fish and chips and the Dungeness crab cocktail, eat at a handful of tables overlooking the river, or take a tub of clam chowder back to the rental.
Nonni's Italian Bistro
A warm, family-run Italian room on Broadway built around recipes the owner grew up eating from his northern-Italian grandmother. Everything from the pasta to the sauces and desserts is made in house daily, and the lasagna, cannelloni, and rotating risotto are the orders regulars repeat.

Seaside Promenade
The 1.5-mile concrete oceanfront walkway, the Prom, that defines Seaside, running flat and railing-lined past beach houses from one end of town to the other. It is the easy, do-it-every-day walk: stroller- and wheelchair-friendly, no elevation, and the social spine of the whole town.
Clatsop Loop Trail
A roughly 2.5-to-3-mile loop climbing from Indian Beach up onto Tillamook Head through dense spruce forest to a viewpoint over the offshore lighthouse, retracing part of the route Clark walked in 1806. The grade is steady but moderate, and the payoff is the ocean overlook and old WWII bunker ruins near the top.

Seaside Aquarium
A small, privately run aquarium on the Prom, open since 1937, where the harbor seals out front are the main event: you buy a tray of fish and feed them yourself. Inside are touch tanks and three dozen tanks of local Oregon-coast marine life. It is old-school and compact, perfect for a rainy hour with kids.
Seaside Carousel Mall
A small indoor mall built around a hand-carved, working carousel a couple of blocks off the beach, with gift shops, candy, and snack counters circling the ride. It is the default rainy-afternoon move with kids and an easy place to kill an hour on Broadway.
Landmarks & sights
Turnaround at Seaside
The dead-center of the Prom, where Broadway meets the beach at a stone traffic circle anchored by the bronze Lewis, Clark, and Seaman-the-dog statue marking the official end of their westward trail. This is the town's orientation point and the spot every Seaside trip photo gets taken.
Ecola State Park
Nine miles of headland coastline wrapping Tillamook Head between Seaside and Cannon Beach, with cliff-edge viewpoints over a string of sea stacks and an offshore lighthouse on its own rock. The southward view from Ecola Point toward Haystack Rock is the one that ends up on Oregon postcards, and Roosevelt elk graze the meadows.
