The Pollard Theatre

Byron's Double Stop Fiddle Shop and Music Hall
Founded by late bluegrass legend Byron Berline, this combination instrument shop and live music hall on East Oklahoma Avenue carries what is claimed to be Oklahoma's largest collection of violins and bows alongside new and vintage guitars, mandolins, and banjos. The music hall hosts regular live shows headlined by the Hunt Brothers Band and other regional bluegrass and Western swing acts. Guthrie Historic District
The largest contiguous urban historic district in the United States, with over 2,100 Victorian-era brick and sandstone commercial buildings spread across 400 city blocks and designated a National Historic Landmark. The district preserves the territory's territorial boomtown grid almost exactly as laid out when the Land Run opened the area in 1889, making it a rare intact example of late-19th-century American urbanism. Walking the brick streets past Romanesque and Queen Anne storefronts gives a tangible sense of the weeks when Oklahoma went from open range to capital city.
