Cahokia Mounds Interpretive Center

Fairmount Park Horse Racing
Illinois's only thoroughbred horse racing track outside Chicago, now undergoing a $100 million renovation for its centennial season. Brooks Catsup Bottle Water Tower
A 170-foot municipal water tower shaped exactly like a Brooks ketchup bottle, sitting on Route 159 like it owns the place. Built in 1949 as a working water tower, it was saved from demolition in the 1990s by a community fundraising campaign and now sits on the National Register of Historic Places.
