The 18,000-seat arena adjacent to Angel Stadium hosts the Anaheim Ducks and some of the largest touring concerts in Southern California. The arena's configuration and acoustics are consistently rated among the better mid-size venues in LA's orbit, and catching a major touring act here generally involves fewer logistics than the larger LA venues.
California Adventure — Disney California Adventure Park
Disney's adjacent second park to Disneyland has been transformed over two decades of investment into something genuinely compelling — the Cars Land recreation of Radiator Springs is the most technically accomplished themed environment in American theme park history, and the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster occupies the original Tower of Terror building. Worth a second day.

Anaheim Packing District
A one-square-block collection of restored 1920s industrial buildings that form the most compelling non-resort cultural destination in Anaheim — the 1919 packing house food hall, a 1928 Packard dealership converted to retail, and several bars and restaurants in between. The whole district feels like the Orange County food scene wanted a neighborhood that wasn't attached to a resort.

The original and still the most architecturally significant Disney theme park — Walt Disney's personal vision of themed immersive entertainment, opened in 1955 and continuously maintained at a standard of detail that defines the category.
