Old Baldy Trail

Blue Hole
The spring-fed swimming hole on Cypress Creek that the regional park is built around, with a rope swing, cold clear water and cypress-shaded banks. It is the classic Wimberley summer outing and stays cool through the heat. Reservations control the crowds in warm months.
Wimberley Market Days
One of the largest open-air markets in Texas, hundreds of vendor booths spread across shaded acres at Lions Field on the first Saturday of warmer months. Expect antiques, crafts, boots, art and food, plus live music. A half-day browse rather than a quick stop.
Landmarks & sights
Wimberley Square
The compact downtown heart of the village, a few blocks of galleries, boutiques and casual eateries with Cypress Creek running just behind. It is walkable, low-key and the natural orientation point for any visit. Most of a Wimberley day starts or ends here.
Wimberley Glassworks
A hand-blown glass studio and gallery south of the village where you can watch glassblowers shape lighting, vases and sculptures in live demonstrations. The showroom is full of finished pieces, much of it custom lighting. It is the area's standout craft destination and worth timing around a demo.
