A 1.5-mile boardwalk loop through sand dunes and maritime hammock at the northern tip of the New Smyrna Beach barrier island, Smyrna Dunes is the best easy nature walk in the NSB area. NSB is a more authentic surfing experience than South Florida's tourist-lesson operations.
