Spring Trail
The most-hiked trail in Ha Ha Tonka State Park — a 1.4-mile moderate loop connecting the cave spring, a natural bridge overlook, and a bluff vista in one compact circuit. The spring pools turquoise-clear at the bottom of a limestone hollow. Paired with the Castle Trail, it covers all of Ha Ha Tonka's main features in under two hours.
Castle Trail
An easy 0.8-mile out-and-back to Ha Ha Tonka's castle ruins — the most photographed viewpoint at the lake, where the shell of a stone mansion sits on a bluff above a wide lake arm. Short enough for any fitness level. Best combined with the Spring Trail for a fuller visit that covers all of the park's signature features.

A 50,000-square-foot indoor family entertainment center in Osage Beach with multi-level go-karts, laser tag, bumper boats, a mini roller coaster, and a large arcade — the lake area's go-to rainy-day or midday-heat backup plan for families with kids. Clean, well-maintained, and large enough to fill a few hours without repetition.
Putt N' Stuff

Ha Ha Tonka State Park
A geological spectacle tucked into the Ozark hills where castle ruins from an early-1900s stone mansion perch on a limestone bluff above Missouri's 12th-largest spring. Sinkholes, caves, a natural bridge, and miles of trail make the park far more than just the ruins — though the view from the castle overlook over the spring cove is worth the trip on its own. Conde Nast Traveler named it the most beautiful place in Missouri.
Bagnell Dam
The Depression-era hydroelectric dam completed in 1931 that created the lake — one of the largest man-made lakes in the US at the time. The dam sits at the foot of the Bagnell Dam Strip and is genuinely impressive from the downstream overlook. A 20-minute stop for anyone interested in mid-century engineering or lake history, combined naturally with a walk along the retro strip above.
