Monolith Garden Trail
A roughly 8-mile loop network in the Cerbat Foothills just north of town, winding past striking volcanic-rock formations and Mohave Desert flora with mountain views the whole way. The area's signature hike, and you can do shorter loops off the main route.
Camp Beale Loop
An easier loop in the same Cerbat Foothills recreation area, rolling through high-desert scrub with interpretive history of the 1850s Beale Wagon Road camps. A gentler option than Monolith Garden with the same big-sky views.

Arizona Route 66 Museum
Housed in Kingman's 1907 powerhouse, this museum traces travel along the 35th parallel from wagon trains through the heyday and decline of Route 66, with vehicles, a 3D map, and immersive period displays. The best single primer on the Mother Road anywhere on it.
Mohave Museum of History and Arts
A broad local-history museum covering Mohave County's Native American cultures, mining and pioneer past, and regional art, with a turquoise display and an Andy Devine room honoring the Kingman-born actor. The deeper-history counterpoint to the Route 66 focus.

Historic Downtown Kingman
The most intact stretch of Route 66 anywhere, where Andy Devine Avenue and Beale Street run past 1900s brick storefronts, neon motels, and the old powerhouse. Kingman calls itself the heart of Route 66 with reason, and the walkable downtown is where that history lives.
Bonelli House
A beautifully preserved 1915 home built of locally quarried tufa stone, one of the best examples of Anglo-Territorial architecture in the state and furnished with original period pieces. A quiet, well-kept window into early-1900s Kingman life.
