Gray Fossil Site and Museum

Founders Park
A five-acre riverside greenspace along the Nolichucky River with a sculpture walk, splash pad, playground, and walking trail that has become the social green heart of downtown Johnson City. A rotating public art installation keeps it visually interesting, and the splash pad draws families in summer while the trail attracts everyone else. Walking it in the morning before the downtown crowds arrive is a quiet pleasure.
