South Beach Park and Fairhope Municipal Pier
A 0.9-mile waterfront walk combining the sandy crescent of South Beach Park with the full length of the 1,400-foot pier into Mobile Bay, taking in bay views, rose gardens, duck ponds and the North Beach tree trail which contains nearly 500 labeled species along its short loop. The whole route is flat, paved or packed-sand and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It is the social trail in Fairhope — you will see everyone here.
Eastern Shore Trail
A 23-mile National Recreation Trail running the full length of the Eastern Shore along Mobile Bay from Spanish Fort through Daphne, Fairhope and Point Clear to Weeks Bay, mostly on paved surface with elevated boardwalk sections over low-lying areas. The Fairhope segment passes through downtown, connects to the bluff parks and pier, and is flat enough to ride by bike with occasional gentle inclines back into town from the waterfront. The most practical way to experience the Eastern Shore's geography end-to-end.

Eastern Shore Art Center
Founded in 1952, this free Oak Street arts center anchors Fairhope's visual arts scene with five rotating gallery spaces showing monthly exhibits across painting, ceramics, sculpture and photography, plus four active teaching studios and a gift shop carrying original affordable work. The First Friday Art Walk draws local artists and collectors into an open-house evening every month. It is the public institution that most clearly explains why Fairhope has more working artists per capita than almost any comparable town in the South.

Fairhope Municipal Pier
A 1,400-foot wooden pier jutting into Mobile Bay that has functioned as the town's living room since the early twentieth century, with benches, a bait shop and one of the most reliably gorgeous west-facing sunsets on the Gulf Coast. The surrounding parks on either side of the pier offer sandy beach, a duck pond, rose gardens and a playground. It is the geographic and emotional center of Fairhope.
Henry George Bluff Park
A narrow bluff-top park perched 30 feet above the Fairhope Municipal Pier on the clay cliffs that define the Eastern Shore's character, lined with live oaks, picnic benches and a gazebo. The views across Mobile Bay to the Mobile skyline are unobstructed, and the park is used for open-air concerts, community gatherings and daily sunset-watching by locals. The bluff itself is a geological oddity in this low-lying coastal landscape.
