It's the most popular hiking trail in Deep Creek Lake State Park and one of the few that feels like a proper forest hike rather than a nature walk — enough elevation change to make it interesting without being strenuous.

Wisp Resort Mountain Coaster
A gravity-powered rail coaster that winds 3,500 feet down Wisp Mountain at speeds you control with a hand brake — the most purely fun outdoor activity at the resort for adults and children alike. It operates in all seasons when the base is clear of snow and ice, which is most of spring through fall. The ride lasts about 4 minutes and the return to the top is by chairlift.
Deep Creek Lake Boat Rentals
