Beacon Falls at Fishkill Creek
A natural waterfall in the middle of Beacon where Fishkill Creek drops over a basalt ledge immediately below the Roundhouse hotel. The falls are viewable from the Roundhouse's public overlook, from the adjacent park, and from the hiking trail that begins in the gorge. Most visitors walk past it on their way to Main Street without knowing it exists — which is why it's worth stopping.
